Mechanical Compression Fittings Plasson Mechanical Compression PP fittings offer solutions for connecting PE pipes, used for conveying water and other fluids in urban and inter-urban infrastructure, industrial, mining, landscape and farming applications and for carrying communication lines. Plasson Mechanical Compression Fittings are designed to withstand working pressures of up to 16bar, and also include valves which allow the regulation of flow. These fittings are manufactured in diameters ranging from 16mm to 160mm Plasson compression fittings are available as dedicated Black2Blue metric / imperial fittings as well as there being a range of adaptors for adapting the metric fitting to accept these pipe types. The Plass4 universal pipe fitting allows connections to all approved pipe types of all pipe materials within the tolerance of the fitting. The Plasson range also includes PlasShield fittings for the three types of Barrier Pipe available in the UK and a range of PlassGas fittings for use on natural gas pipe networks.
